Experience Sitka like never before.  Enjoy a few hours on the water taking in the breathtaking views and animal encounters.  You never know what may show up.  We often see whales, sea lions, birds, otters, deer and bears.  Sightings are not guaranteed.  The herring start showing up mid-March and so do the whales.  Mid-March through April is an excellent time for whale watching.  As the salmon start coming up the rivers in June, the bears come out to feed.  June through September is a great time for a good chance at bear sightings.  Almost anytime is a great time for taking in the sights of Sitka. For the best views possible, we offer gyro stabilizing binoculars as part of the trip.
